Not many people have heard of the Israel Flying Aid which has been providing humanitarian aid to Syrians for years. This elite undercover unit who are all native Arabic speakers have finally gone public.

Alongside the IDF the group helps deliver massive amounts of aid to refugees fleeing the Syrian forces in south western Syria.

 

Always aware that if they were captured it could mean instant death or they could be tortured and held hostage they still are committed to help supply vast amounts of medication, baby food and formula, food items, hygiene and sanitation kits and tents.

 

Recently Israel announced that it would not open its northern borders to fleeing Syrian refugees, however would still on a daily basis with the IDF and groups such as The Israel Flying Aid rescue injured men women and children who have been caught up in the war and safely taken to Israeli hospitals to be treated.
